Karin Hollerbach, PhD, Founder and CEO Ms. Hollerbach has extensive experience in transition management, startups, commercialization of technology, product marketing and management. Ms. Hollerbach has served as CEO, Executive VP, VP of Technology, and VP of Products. She has served in interdisciplinary roles at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, the Whitehead Institute, SRI, and Draper Laboratory. Ms. Hollerbach holds undergraduate degrees in Molecular Biology and in EECS from MIT, an MSEE from UC Berkeley, and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering awarded by UC Berkeley and UCSF. She has served as President and continues to serve on the Board of Directors of the MIT Club of Northern California, serving over 8,500 MIT alumni and alumnae, and as Trustee of a hospital in San Francisco, where she serves as Secretary and chairs the Board Development Committee. She serves on several for-profit companies’ boards. Ms. Hollerbach is a graduate of Leadership America, of FWE's NextGEN CEO program, and of the Global Bio-executive program at the Haas School of Business. She is a published author and an internationally invited speaker. In her personal life, Ms. Hollerbach loves the outdoors, including mountaineering expeditions and open water swimming; she is learning to fly airplanes. Ms. Hollerbach speaks multiple languages and is a worldwide traveler. |
